COVID-19 Clinic Safety Procedures

I am pleased to announce Pacific Osteopathy is re-opening June 1. I hope that your life in isolation was peaceful and not too painful. As we tentatively emerge from the COVID cocoon, it is important to respect the guidelines that have been established for us.

In compliance with provincial and regulatory standards, a number of new protocols will be in place:

  • To reduce the risk of person-to-person transmission, the waiting room will not be in use.
  • If you arrive early, please wait in your car or have a seat on the bench outside until your appointed time.
  • I have rescheduled booking times so that there is more time between patients — to prevent patient overlap in the waiting room and to allow me time for sanitary measures.
  • I will also be diffusing anti-viral essential oils, so if you experience smell sensitivity be sure to let me know.
  • It is impossible to concurrently practice osteopathy and physical distancing. For that reason, masks will be required. I prefer that you bring your own.
  • Please do not come for treatment if you are experiencing any fever, cough, shortness of breath or other symptoms associated with COVID-19.
  • If you feel unwell on the day of an appointment, contact me and we will reschedule to a later date.
  • When you arrive for your session, you will be asked to wash your hands and to fill out a short COVID-related questionnaire and consent form.

I look forward to resuming the practice of osteopathy and to seeing you again.
